Friday, July 6

• 1-3:30 p.m. - Bring quilts for Antique Quilt Show - A-M Activities Building
  (Would like quilts to be at least 50 years old) For more information contact Donalee Lamb, 308-643-2481

• 5-8 p.m. - Antique Quilt Show - A-M Activities Building - Sponsored by Custer’s Last Stitch

• 9:30 p.m.  -FREE Outdoor Movies - Library Lawn
  “Cheaper by the Dozen” & “Belles on their Toes” Featuring Actress Myrna Loy (named after Merna, NE)
  Free popcorn, iced tea & lemonade

Saturday, July 7

• 6 a.m. - Registration, Fun Run/Walk - 1 Mile, 5K & 10K  - Community Center

• 7 a.m. - Fun Run/Walk race starts Community Center

• 7:30 - 9:30 am - Free Pancake Feed - High School Commons Area - Sponsored by A-M School Board & Administration

• 7:30 am  - 5 pm - Antique Quilt Show - Sponsored by Custer’s Last Stitch - A-M Activities Building

• 8:30 a.m. - Line up for parade -Football Concession Stand

• 9 - 9:30 a.m. - Judging for the parade

• 10 a.m. - Parade begins down Main Street

• 11 a.m. - Lunch Community Center  - Sponsored by Merna Area Promoters - Served by Four Corners 4-H Club

• 11 a.m. - Pedal Tractor Pull - Sponsored by Merna American Legion Main Street

• 11:00 a.m. - 3 on 3 Basketball 4 grade and up

• 12 noon  - Mud Volleyball - ages 13 & up - Teams of 3 gals &  3 guys

• 1 - 3 p.m. - Historic Hayrack Rides - Meet at Community Center

• 1:15 p.m. - Kids’ Races & Games Main Street - Including Foot Races for preschool only, Wheelbarrow Races, Sack Races,  3-Legged  Races for all ages, and more.

• 1:30 p.m. - Bingo Starts - Community Center

• 2 p.m. - Horseshoe Tournament Main Street

• 2 - 4 p.m. - Water slide Library Lawn

• 4:30 p.m. - Ping Pong Ball Drop for kids up to age 12 Main Street

• 5:15 p.m. - Alumni Registration City Park

• 5:30 p.m. - Barbecue and Alumni Meeting City Park - FREE Merna Birthday Cake City Park - Ice Cream Social Fund Raiser for Anselmo-Merna Parent/Teacher Organization City Park

• 7 p.m. - Entertainment - Square Dancing City Park

Sunday, July 8

• 2:00 Antique Tractor Play Day - Come watch these amazing old machines compete in games of skill and fun!
